L'ETO

In the heart of Soho you will find the lively and trendy Wardour Street, a quaint area filled with coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and bars. on one of our journeys down this street, we found ourselves drawn to a window display decorated with the most delectable cakes that leave us watering at the mouth. The various colours of the icing was enough to catch our eyes and entice us into the shop.

Kaffee

We had a cappuccino and a vanilla latte. Both coffees were made from finely roasted beans that made us feel as if we had been transported to the streets of Colombia.

Kuchen

The cake, that had originally enticed us in, did not disappoint. Not only was the aroma of the freshly cooked cake simply irresistible but there was also a wide range of choice. You could choose from twenty different flavours. We tried the Napoleon, a cake with layers of pastry and cream, and we really recommend it! The portion's size are impressive!

   Atmosphere

The decor is seasonal and welcoming which makes the experience of Kaffee and Kuchen that bit more enjoyable! However, this shop is in central London, and here, space is an issue. Sometimes the queue is up to 30 minutes long, and tables are shared (look at the bright side, you may find the love of your life!). This is not an uncommon feature for such a location, however we did find it dampened our relaxing experience.

 Location

It is easy to find and it is a great place after a shopping day on the Oxford Street or Soho!

   Price

The price might seem a little bit expensive, but after the first taste of your cake and your first sip of your coffee you will know, IT IS WORTH IT!
